Thankfully, the family who found him couldn’t ignore his hopeful eyes. They made sure he was safe, fed, and loved until one of our amazing foster families stepped in to give him the second chance he deserves. Now, he's waiting for a family that will choose him forever. At 34 pounds, Krew is the perfect adventure-sized companion, filled with enough love and personality to fill a house twice his size. This handsome German Wirehaired Pointer and Australian Cattle Dog mix wakes up each day prepared for the best day ever. His body wiggles with excitement when he meets new people, his tail is ever-wagging, and he hasn’t met a stranger he doesn’t want to befriend. Krew reminds everyone to find joy in the little things. The world is still somewhat new to him. New experiences might make him pause, especially getting into the car. But with a bit of reassurance, he’s often ready to explore anywhere life takes him, and watching his confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. Krew adores children, gets along well with cats, and enjoys dog friends with thoughtful introductions. Once he knows everyone is safe, his playful personality shines brightly. While having another confident dog around can help him blossom, he'd be happiest just being near his people. He’s crate trained, house trained, and eager to learn leash manners.
