About Thing

Meet Thing, a 17-year-old Domestic Short Hair with a personality that’s as vibrant as his experience. After spending nearly two decades with one person, he’s now learning to navigate a new home at Clover's. Understandably, he’s not thrilled and has established an exclusive friend policy: you must come bearing wet food to get on his good side. He’s not interested in playtime or antics; Thing prefers a relaxed retirement filled with quality naps, gourmet canned food, and the occasional opportunity to critique his surroundings from a cozy bed. While he may appear grumpy, at his core is a cat adjusting to a significant change. With time, love, and of course, a steady supply of wet food, this cranky senior could warm up to his new home. If seniors hold a special place in your heart, Thing is ready to meet his new human — just don’t expect any smiles unless you bring treats. Your new best friend is just one click away.
