About Gingerbread

Meet Gingerbread, a sweet and gentle soul with a quiet charm. Initially shy around new people, he transforms into a loving purr machine once comfortable. A favorite pastime is watching the world go by from a cozy bed by the window, where he enjoys gentle playtime and the company of other calm cats who respect his space. As he adjusts to home life, Gingerbread can be overwhelmed by loud noises and sudden movements. Therefore, he would thrive in a calm environment, preferably with adults or older, respectful children. His nurturing nature shines brighter in a peaceful household full of patience. Gingerbread was rescued after living in a colony of cats, and he has a history of being an affectionate companion. Presently undergoing treatment for wet Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), he is recovering well and is expected to be ready for adoption after completing his treatment. FIP is not contagious and is now highly treatable. This resilient boy is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and negative for FIV and FeLV. If you're ready to offer him a loving home, Gingerbread is waiting for you.
