Rainey has overcome quite a lot in her young life. She started out living outside and even had a kitten, but sadly, was left to fend for herself. When rescued, she weighed only 4 pounds at two years old, showing how tough it had been for her. Now that she’s safe, Rainey is revealing her sweet and gentle nature. She loves to nap, enjoys gentle pets, and is starting to appreciate the comfort of having plenty to eat and a cozy bed. This calm girl is great with kids and gets along with other cats after a little introduction. However, she's also perfectly happy being the only cat, providing a lovely companionship for someone looking for a quiet friend. While she still needs to gain some weight, Rainey is on the path to recovery and ready to give and receive love. A gentle soul in need of a forever home, she would thrive in a peaceful environment.
