About Sammy
Sammy found his way to us from Texas, where his previous owner wanted to euthanize him due to a positive FIV test. It's important to understand that FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) is not a death sentence for cats. Many infected cats lead full, asymptomatic lives and can coexist peacefully with others. Transmission mainly occurs through deep bites, not through grooming or shared dishes. Sammy currently resides with several housemates and interacts well without aggression. While he may be a bit shy initially, he thrives in calm environments and hasn't shown any biting or scratching tendencies. With his beautiful chocolate-colored paws, seal point Siamese coloring, and stunning blue eyes, Sammy deserves a loving home where he can feel secure.
