Parmesan is a shy yet hopeful cat eagerly looking for a foster home or a forever family. Most pass him by, assuming he’s feral or simply uninterested. In reality, he craves trust but doesn’t know how to express it after years of living outdoors, where every unfamiliar sound posed a threat. Rescued from that life, Parmesan now finds shelter overwhelming. The noise and constant flow of strangers heighten his anxiety. He needs a serene environment, where he can learn that footsteps don’t always signal danger. A patient person willing to celebrate small victories—like a tentative sniff or a soft purr—would be instrumental in his healing. Parmesan requires someone who understands that building trust takes time. He’s got a loving soul buried beneath the layers of fear, waiting for the right person to help him emerge.
