About Treasure

Treasure is a gentle, sweet-natured boy looking for a patient, loving forever home. He was found this past winter after being abandoned at a marina in Johnson City, Tennessee, a location where cats are sadly dumped far too often. Left behind in the rain with only his litter box and food, Treasure felt frightened and overwhelmed. Thankfully, a kind woman was able to safely pick him up and bring him to safety. Since entering foster care, Treasure has been slowly learning that people can be trusted. Although he may be shy initially, once he feels secure, he becomes incredibly affectionate and loves being petted. He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home. Treasure would thrive in a quiet, adult-only environment with someone who understands that building trust takes time. He’ll need a family willing to let him adjust at his own pace, but their patience will be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion. If you're looking for a gentle soul who simply needs a chance to feel safe and loved, Treasure may be the perfect addition to your family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
