Amy came to us as a breeder release, missing out on crucial experiences during her early years. This has made her a bit shy at first, but beneath that timid exterior lies a sweet girl eager to learn the warmth of unconditional love. She needs a calm, patient family that understands the importance of trust. Amy reveals her true self at her own pace, and every small achievement feels like a victory. Once settled, her gentle nature will truly shine. Rather than seeking perfection, she hopes to find someone ready to embrace her exactly as she is and celebrate her growth. Having another friendly, confident dog at home would really benefit Amy. She feels comfort in observing other dogs and learns from them. She is also fine with cats and would thrive in a quieter environment that won’t overwhelm her. Amy sleeps quietly in her crate each night and is making good progress potty training, using both outside and pee pads. With ongoing structure and patience, she will continue to gain confidence and adapt to family life. Amy is spayed, vaccinated, and will have a veterinary health certificate before adoption. She’d do best adopted separately from Sheldon so both can build confidence on their own.
