About Nami URGENT

Nami URGENT needs a forever home fast! This 14-week-old female German Shepherd and Husky mix is facing the threat of euthanasia due to an upper respiratory infection. Currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter since June 23, 2026, Nami's time is running out, and she needs someone to step up and save her. With her tricolor coat of brown, black, and white, Nami has a lively spirit characteristic of her breeds. She's classified as small, has a short coat, and while she is not yet house trained, her youth offers plenty of potential for proper training. Since she hasn't been altered yet, her adoption is even more urgent. This adorable pup will thrive in a loving home, where she can receive the care and compassion she desperately needs. Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS) partners with Kern County Animal Services to help find homes for dogs like Nami who are at risk of euthanasia. If you're in a position to adopt, please reach out to CAPS or visit their contact page. Don’t wait; Nami’s new life is just a decision away!
