About Charlie
Charlie is a huge sweetheart who loves being around his people and tends to form strong bonds with his inner circle. In his foster home, he was especially in tune with family emotions, offering comfort when needed. He enjoys tug-of-war and has a passion for bones and treats. Fully potty trained, Charlie adjusted well when left alone, but any dog may need time to acclimate to a new routine. He rides well in the car, wanting to be close to his humans; a dog seat belt is recommended as he performed well on hour-long trips. When his foster family returns home, Charlie is eager to be near them, often settling down for affection. This smart dog already knows sit and shake and thrives on learning new skills. He made strides in leash walking and may do best with a harness. Charlie is great with children, patiently interacting with toddlers and doing well in large groups at the shelter. He enjoys the company of dogs with a similar play style and loved his trips to the dog park.
