Meet Griff, a handsome German Shepherd and Pit mix looking for his forever home. At approximately 5 years old, he’s a neutered male who thrives on companionship and adventure. He has come a long way since being abandoned in freezing temperatures a couple of years ago. Griff is happy, healthy, and up to date on vaccinations. This spirited dog loves hiking, biking, and playtime. He has a playful side, showcasing his many tricks and eagerness to learn. While Griff enjoys the company of other dogs and can be a cuddler at home, he does have some behavioral quirks stemming from his past. He tends to be reactive to new people and dogs, so he needs a patient, reactive-savvy owner who can provide structure and socialization when introducing him to others. Griff is crate trained and great on a leash, making him a good fit for an active lifestyle. However, he would not do well in a home with young children or cats.
