While Turbo feels safest in his kennel, he’s primarily kennel trained but may bark occasionally and experience short-lived accidents. His new family should be patient and ready to help him understand that accidents are part of the learning process. Right now, Turbo is fearful of people and won't seek attention from strangers, so a secure setup with a fenced backyard is essential. He struggles on a leash and needs gentle, positive training to feel confident walking. Interestingly, he finds comfort with animals and does well with cats. He genuinely flourishes around calm, confident dogs that can help him gain confidence. With time and a kind approach, he can form deep bonds, having already grown attached to his foster mom, often climbing into her lap for quiet snuggles.
