About Nova
Nova is a 2-year-old spayed female Pitbull mix who came to us in need of a little love and trust. Initially shy, she’s cautious about being petted until she feels secure. Once she opens up, Nova is sweet and gentle, even with puppies, and delights in the company of other dogs. She loves having a confident, outgoing companion or a playful puppy by her side. Nova gets along with confident adult cats, though she’s more comfortable with older children. Loud or rowdy young kids can be a bit overwhelming for her. She’s already great with the doggy door and knows when it's time to go outside, settling right back in to snooze on a cozy bed or chew on a stuffed toy. Though she shows some nerves around crates and leashes, she's willing to tolerate them with gentle coaxing. No signs of aggression have been noted, but her past remains a mystery. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s slightly shy at first but full of potential and joy, Nova might just be the perfect fit. Let's help her find her forever home.
