Ransom is a lively 9-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer, and he truly captures the spirit of the breed with his high energy and playful demeanor. Always ready for a good laugh, you can count on him to bring joy to your days. He's a friendly boy who loves meeting new people—so much so that he’d probably accompany the mailman home! His idea of a perfect day includes playing fetch, hiking, or any exciting adventure that keeps him on the move from sunrise to sunset. Ransom knows basic commands like "sit" and has begun the journey toward being fully house-trained, although he may have the occasional slip-up as he adapts to a new environment. He's great with other dogs, thriving best with a canine buddy who can match his energetic play style. Ransom is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s heartworm negative, too. Plus, adopters will receive a FREE GPS Tracker from Fi along with a six-month subscription to their service. The adoption fee is $400 to help cover his vetting. Ransom is currently at Rise & Shine Rescue in Lucedale, MS, and can be met in person at the shelter. Transport is available at an additional fee for those farther away.
