About Goose

Goose is a lovable 1-year-old Sheepadoodle, weighing in at 78 pounds. He perfectly blends playful energy with a delightful cuddle personality. Whether he's zooming around in a fenced yard, exercising his long legs, or leaning in for affection, Goose thrives on companionship. While he's charming and affectionate, Goose still has some important learning to do. He has a history of resource guarding with food and toys, so he needs a dedicated dog-savvy adopter committed to positive training. An adult-only home, preferably as the only pet, may provide the stability he needs to flourish. With his beautiful coat, Goose will require regular grooming to keep him comfortable and looking his best. A future family should prepare for routine care to manage his coat effectively. Goose also comes with a ticket to success — he's in our Paws Forward Program and will receive three free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s. Recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, he will need ongoing veterinary care, but many dogs with this condition live happy lives with proper treatment. Could Goose be the companion you've been missing? Come meet this sweet and silly giant and find out why he captures hearts everywhere!
