About Piper
Meet Piper, a charming Shepherd eager to find his forever home. This soft and snuggly boy is approximately 1 year old and thrives on affection and calm companionship. Originally from Afghanistan, Piper is still adapting to the new sights and sounds of life here, showing a gentle and loyal nature. He’s an attentive learner, especially when treats are involved, and while he has a big bark, he's learning to feel safe and secure around his humans. Piper is best suited for a quieter home without young children, as he can be startled or mouthy when excited. Older children, age 10 and up, are a better match for him. He enjoys the company of very submissive dogs or could be happy as the only pup in the house. Piper balances playtime with moments of relaxation, relishing belly rubs and love from his humans. He’s comfortable in his crate but loves to sprawl out on a bed or couch. Piper enjoys walks and is good being left alone without issues. While car rides aren’t his favorite—he makes that clear with instant drooling—he’s ready for any adventure if it means being with you. Are you the loving family Piper’s been waiting for?
