Vivi thrives when engaged in various activities. While she loves long walks, she also needs daily mental challenges to keep her busy mind entertained. Like many herding breeds, she can become quite focused on movement. On walks, she may pull toward moving cars and has been known to chase and nip at younger children at home. For this reason, Vivi needs a mature home environment. Previously, she lived with a smaller dog but had a tendency to crowd it during play, so she may need a slow introduction to new canine companions. Because of her strong instinct to fixate on small animals, a home without small dogs, cats, or other small critters is essential.
