About Freckles
Freckles is looking for an adventure partner with a big heart. This affectionate Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix thrives by your side, whether you’re exploring the town or hitting the trails. Freckles walks well on a leash and responds well to recall training. While he absolutely adores his people, he can be a bit shy around newcomers in public settings. A patient owner who can help build his confidence in these situations would be ideal. At times, he might become nippy when he’s overstimulated, expressing his desire to play or not wanting you to leave. He gets along well with most dogs and would be a great fit in an active home where he can join in the fun. Just a heads up: cats aren’t really his thing. This smaller pup has a personality that matches the vast mountains around him. Currently, Freckles is in a foster home and enjoys strolls by the river and hikes in local parks. To meet him, please reach out to the shelter for arrangements.
