About Jerry

Meet Jerry! Jerry is a 4-year-old, approximately 40-pound mixed breed dog who joined our shelter as a stray and never was reclaimed. When you first meet him, he may seem a bit reserved, but he's quick to warm up with some tasty treats and a little patience. As he begins to feel safe, his confidence grows and so does his affectionate personality. Soon enough, he’ll be leaning against you, soaking up all the love you can offer. If you’re looking for a quiet companion who enjoys simply being by your side, Jerry might be just the pup for you. He has a lot to offer, and he'll reward his future family with unwavering loyalty and plenty of tail wags. Jerry gets along well with canine friends who allow him to ease into friendships at his own pace. While he can potentially coexist with cats given proper introductions, he would do best in a home with kids aged 12 and up. Jerry will be available for adoption through our foster-to-adopt program. His adoption can be finalized once his procedure is complete. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
