Though she needs to be spayed, her appointment is set for July 30, 2026, at Georgetown SPCA. It's important that foster to adopt families live within an hour of Georgetown, DE, and can bring her back for her appointment. Lucy is housebroken but requires a routine schedule and supervision. She’s crate trained and enjoys car rides, though she can get a bit nervous. On the leash, she thrives, loving her walks and quick bursts of playful energy, often bounding like a baby fawn. In her foster home, Lucy shows her friendly nature. She gets along well with both large and small dogs, and her previous situation in a dog hoarding environment means she’s happiest in a home with canine companions. She's cat friendly, too, and is great with children, although families with kids 7 and older would be ideal due to her small size.
