Bonnabelle requires a patient adopter willing to help her adjust to home life, as she came from a challenging puppy mill situation. While she has lived successfully with other dogs, socializing with people is still a new experience for her. Walking on a leash and navigating doorways can be tough, so she would benefit from a fenced-in yard and another friendly dog to guide her. At about 5 years old and weighing around 12 pounds, Bonnabelle has a gentle disposition and loves to cuddle. She's not fully housebroken yet but is learning quickly in her foster home. Bonnabelle prefers a calm environment and would thrive in a home with children aged 6 and up. Although new experiences initially cause her nervousness, Bonnabelle is working on building trust, especially with new people.
