About Indigo
Indigo is a spirited 5-year-old male Chihuahua, weighing in at just 5 pounds. He may be small, but he has an adventurous heart, often showcasing an impressive talent for escape artistry. If there’s even the slightest gap, Indigo seems to find it, treating collars and harnesses like optional accessories. This little Houdini is searching for a home that appreciates his adventurous spirit but can also keep him safe. He loves walks, exploring, and all the cozy snuggle time he can get afterward. Indigo thrives on companionship and prefers to be close, often found underfoot or curled up in your lap. His ideal family will need to be aware of his penchant for slipping away, so a home without kids is a must. While he might get along with other dogs and cats, any future housemates will need to meet him first. If you think Indigo could be the perfect addition to your home, visit the shelter during our walk-in hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12 to 4 PM. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
