Meet Leo! Leo is a gentle and sweet four-year-old, 18-pound dog who was rescued from a hoarding situation in Puerto Rico. After enduring such an overwhelming environment, he's ready to find a forever home where he can feel safe and loved. Since arriving in the NJ area on May 16th, Leo has been settling into foster life beautifully. Living with another dog, he has proven to be fully house trained. Leo would thrive in a quiet home where he can take his time to decompress and learn that he is finally safe. Although he may be a bit shy at first, his sweet personality shines through once he feels comfortable. He needs a patient family that will offer him the love and time he requires in return for being a wonderful companion. He is not suited for homes with cats but gets along well with other dogs.
