About Momma Meagan
Meet Momma Meagan. She has endured quite a journey, but we're hopeful her next chapter will be nothing short of wonderful. Momma Meagan came to us as a community TNR momma cat, unable to return to her previous home after her finder rescued her. Although she is blind in one eye, likely from her tough past, she has shown incredible resilience. Found in a difficult area, she's survived experiences that many cats could hardly bear. During her time raising her kittens, Momma Meagan was constantly on guard, which made it hard for her to trust people. After spending three months in a quiet bedroom, her demeanor is beginning to change. Now that her little ones are grown, she's started to enjoy gentle pets and is becoming more relaxed with humans. She still hisses at resident cats, but adjusting to indoor life is a new experience for her. To help her continue to blossom, Momma Meagan would thrive best as the only cat in a calm and patient home. If there are other pets, a slow and thoughtful introduction is essential while she learns that safety is hers to keep. She’s been through a lot and deserves a loving, understanding home where she can settle at her own pace. Momma Meagan is FIV/FELV negative, has been spayed, and is up to date on her rabies and Fvrcp vaccinations. If you have a compassionate heart and are willing to give this strong girl the fresh start she so deserves, Momma Meagan may just reward you with an unforgettable bond. What are you waiting for?
