About Mabel
Meet Mabel! Mabel is a charming 1 to 2-year-old Pit Bull Mix who can light up any room with her joyful spirit and loving heart. She was rescued by local police and brought to the Trenton shelter while heavily pregnant. Thankfully, Mabel moved into foster care just in time to have her puppies. Now that she’s thriving, she’s ready to find her forever home. This sweet girl adores everyone she meets and is incredibly dog-friendly. Mabel would be happiest in a home with another playful dog to help keep her company and drain some of her youthful energy. Despite her fun, puppy-like enthusiasm, she knows how to settle down and looks forward to cozy snuggles after playtime. Mabel appears to be house trained and has done remarkably well in her foster home. She’s eager to please, food-motivated, and already knows a few commands, so she’s a great candidate for continued training. She’s also working on her leash manners and curbing her jumping when excited, making excellent progress along the way. An active family would be a great fit for her. Mabel enjoys outdoor exploration, going on adventures, and being part of the action. Since she can get excited, she would do best with children ages 10 and older. Athletic as she is, Mabel can clear a 4-foot fence, so supervision is important during yard time. Weighing in at about 45-50 pounds, Mabel is fully grown and up to date on her vaccinations. She’ll be spayed before adoption.
