Meet Bear! At just 3 years old and 15 lbs, Bear is a charming little guy who needs a patient and loving home. He came to us through a local surrender and is working hard to trust again. Recognizing that building trust takes time, Bear would thrive with someone who understands his journey. Bear is potty trained, though he may mark occasionally. He has a strong love for toys and enjoys being close to his people. He's familiar with crate training and knows how to sit and come on command. While Bear can coexist with cats and dogs, he prefers to focus his attention on his humans. Bear feels safest when his boundaries are respected. He may growl or be nippy if approached in areas he doesn't like to be touched. For this reason, he needs an adult-only home where he can continue to gain confidence at his own pace.
