Dobby is a lively 11-year-old Feist mix, weighing 33 pounds. She's on the hunt for a home with no other pets and ideally with an experienced dog owner who can appreciate her spirited nature. Dobby enjoys her daily walks, stuffed toys, and sturdy chew toys. She's also a treat lover and has a strong desire to learn new tricks. Dobby knows commands like sit, down, catch, shake, and even how to wait for her meals. She's quite the athlete, walking steadily at a 3+ mph pace and showing off her charming quirks, such as alerting her foster to meal times or the presence of pesky squirrels. While she has a high prey drive typical of her breed, Dobby enjoys plenty of lounging around, too, being quite the couch potato. She is fully house-trained and can hold it through a workday, although she's always offered extra outdoor breaks. It's important for her to be on a special urinary diet to prevent crystals. Dobby does have some arthritis and takes a daily, affordable medication. Her coat is short, leading to low to average shedding, and she's free from separation anxiety, sleeping soundly in a crate until morning potty time.
