Meet Nala. This beautiful 2-year-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix weighs around 50 pounds. With her striking ears, intelligent gaze, and athletic build, she captures attention both inside and out. After being rescued from East Valley Animal Shelter, Nala has spent the last two months in a nurturing foster home, where she's shown her wonderful potential as a companion. While she can be a bit shy at first, slow introductions help her warm up. Once she trusts you, Nala becomes incredibly affectionate and playful, forming deep bonds with her family. Having a medium energy level, she's an ideal partner for daily walks and outdoor adventures without being overly demanding. Nala walks beautifully on a leash, is both house-trained and crate-trained, and is not a barker. She's also highly treat motivated, which makes her training enjoyable and effective. Nala loves to play and thrives in an active home where she can build confidence. While she may be selective with other dogs, she generally does well with smaller ones after proper introductions. Note that she does not get along with cats. Like many Malinois mixes, Nala is smart, loyal, and eager to please.
