About Oakley
Oakley is a resilient girl who's already made great strides since arriving at the shelter. Previously underweight and dealing with a skin infection, she’s now thriving thanks to the dedicated care she received. Oakley has been spayed and is currently at a healthy weight. She’s still mastering her leash manners, naturally curious and eager to explore. Oakley displays good habits in her kennel and, with a consistent routine, she will likely become fully housetrained. Having been introduced to other dogs, she has shown that she gets along well with them and enjoys her time in playgroups. Her laid-back attitude makes her a pleasant companion, especially when she understands what’s expected from her. A fun fact about Oakley is that she’s very food motivated due to her past experiences; she can get a bit excited at mealtime. To help her slow down, using a slow feeder or adding water to her kibble does wonders. Oakley knows her name and responds well to "Oak." While she hasn’t been tested with cats yet, she’s a sweet and easygoing girl ready to find her forever family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
