Meet Joni, a petite 22-lb Australian Cattle Dog mix, who brings a whole lot of love in her small package. At about a year old, this sweet and goofy girl flourishes in the company of her people, always eager to be by their side. If you’re searching for a loyal little shadow to call your own, Joni could be the one for you. Her favorite activity is companionship. Joni is a true Velcro pup, following you from room to room, flopping over for belly rubs, and gently pawing for more pets. She adores snuggling and is known to try climbing up for a kiss or two. Her affectionate nature makes her an ideal buddy for someone who spends a lot of time at home. In terms of energy, Joni is moderate. She enjoys neighborhood walks, playtime, and also knows how to settle nicely nearby while you work. She has a playful side with enrichment activities and loves chasing grasshoppers in the yard. Joni is house trained and has shown no accidents in her foster home. She sleeps peacefully through the night, often curled up on the bed, and is comfortable in her crate when needed. She willingly goes into her crate for treats and typically relaxes during those times. As Joni continues to learn about the world, she will thrive with an adopter who can help build her confidence, especially around cars. Ideally, Joni would love to be part of a family with someone home often, a securely fenced yard, and a nurturing atmosphere.
