About Sandy Cheeks
Meet Sandy Cheeks, your future companion who’s always by your side. This sweet 5-year-old girl is the epitome of a Velcro dog, enjoying every moment spent near her foster mom. She’s fully house trained and maintains excellent manners. Sandy tends to her kennel when it’s time for a nap but feels comfortable relaxing solo when her family leaves. She’s shown respect towards the resident cats, often sniffing in curiosity before losing interest. While she chased a cat during her first day in foster care, she’s since been redirected easily. Dog compatibility is still a question, but her gentle nature suggests she could potentially do well with other dogs. Sandy prefers leisurely walks, stopping to take in her surroundings. She walks nicely on a leash, though she may pull at intriguing scents. Command training is in progress, and she’s eager to learn, currently working on “sit.” Instead of toys, Sandy values affection and will thrive on belly rubs and quality time with her humans. Previously found alone and unspayed in Katy, she’s now ready for a loving family that appreciates her for who she is. Sandy has been spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on prevention, dewormed, and microchipped. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
