Griselda’s story begins with quite the entrance—arriving at our rescue with a police escort, she certainly made an impression. Initially, she was nothing short of a whirlwind of fear and defiance, hissing and growling as if the world was closing in on her. The level of her distress made it clear that Griselda had endured some tough times, shaping her into a feline fighter. But we chose a different path. Rather than pushing her, we waited. We allowed Griselda the time and space to understand that she was safe now. Slowly, she began to reveal a softer side, transforming into the affectionate girl we see today. Now, Griselda seeks out pets and attention, showing us that she knows how to truly live, not just survive. While she’s still a bit cautious around other cats, she’s earned the right to set her boundaries. There’s no need for anyone to fix her; Griselda is perfect as she is, and all she needs is the promise of safety and love in her forever home. She’s ready for a family to call her own—one that will uphold the promise she so desperately deserves.
