About Ivy
Ivy is a lovely tortoiseshell kitty looking for a peaceful forever home. She’s had a challenging year, having been abandoned by her previous owner and then struggling to adapt in a home with young children and multiple pets. After being overwhelmed, Ivy ended up on the euthanasia list at a shelter, but luckily, she was rescued. This young lady thrives best as the only pet. While she can get along with respectful kids over five, she'd prefer a calm environment without other animals. In a quieter foster home, she started to trust her caregivers, enjoying belly rubs and playful moments with her toys. Ivy loves to chase coils and mice, and when she’s comfortable, she’ll eagerly roll over for affection. Ivy will benefit from a patient adopter who understands that she needs time to settle into her new surroundings. A 30-day trial period is available to help her adjust comfortably. She’s currently located in Los Angeles, CA, and may also make appearances at adoption events. If Ivy sounds like the perfect fit for you, be sure to include your phone number in your interest reply.
