About Rico
Meet Rico, a resilient almost 2-year-old male Hound/Rottweiler mix weighing around 62 lbs, who is ready for a fresh start. After being abandoned by his previous family, Rico found himself in the care of a kind neighborhood until he got a foster family. He has a sweet disposition and enjoys spending time with his dog pals, loving their playful company. Though he's friendly with people, he may need a little time to warm up due to his past experiences. Rico is not just a cuddly companion; he’s also potty and kennel trained and walks well on a leash. He enjoys toys, can be a bit of a couch potato indoors, but thrives outdoors where he loves to chase balls and romp around. Rico does have some limitations with a rear leg that makes him limp occasionally, but it doesn’t hinder his joy or playful spirit. Ideally, he wants a home with a fenced yard to explore and be loved. This affectionate pup deserves a family who will cherish him. Faith and Hope Foundation is dedicated to finding Rico his forever home, and they transport pets across the United States and Canada. Will you be the one to give Rico the loving home he’s been waiting for?
