Hester
AvailableHester is a female baby Domestic Short Hair cat located in Sacramento, CA. She is small and has been successfully litter box trained. While she is not yet altered, she shows promise in overcoming her initial resistance to socialization. Hester is currently looking for a patient adopter to help her flourish into the affectionate companion we know she can be.
About Hester
Hester came to us with her four brothers, and she got her name because she can hiss—not aggressively, but boy does she make it known! When they arrived, she took charge as the ringleader of the group. Hester has faced some challenges in her journey to socialize. While her siblings eagerly engaged with everyone, Hester has been a bit more cautious. However, she’s recently started to show signs of progress and hasn’t hissed at her handlers in the last few days. She has successfully mingled with our other five cats, showing she can adapt with feline companions, although she's still warming up to the human residents of the house. In time, we’re confident Hester will be just as sweet and friendly as her brothers. Hester is litter box trained and uses it reliably. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
