About Violet
Meet Violet! Violet was found wandering the streets of Houston, TX, having endured a difficult start in life. Despite everything, she emerged as one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs you could hope to meet. She's now ready to find her forever home. At about 1.5 years old, Violet is fully house trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She enjoys the company of dogs of all sizes, drawing confidence from them, and while she is kid-friendly, she does get a bit nervous around loud little ones. Violet knows how to sit and is making impressive progress with her place and crate training. As a world-class cuddler, she’ll army crawl over to you with her tongue out, just to be close. Although squeaky toys frighten her, she absolutely loves playing with the hose and enjoys a good game of tug. Having survived so much, Violet still chooses to trust people. She shines at adoption events, interacting well with everyone she meets. The ideal home for her would involve an adopter willing to continue training and ideally have another dog friend.
