About Miriam
Meet Miriam! Miriam is a lovely 1-year-old girl who has just finished an important chapter in her life—raising her kittens. Now it’s her turn to find a home where she can simply be loved and cherished. This sweet former mama is blossoming in her foster care. Once a shy cat who hid from people, she now enjoys gentle chin scratches, rubs against your legs, and sometimes rolls over for belly rubs when she feels safe. Still, Miriam has a shy nature and can be easily startled; she isn’t fond of being picked up and prefers that affection comes to her at her own pace. Miriam needs a calm and patient environment where she can continue to gain confidence. A quiet home without a lot of noise or sudden movements would help her gentle personality shine through. Since she was a stray, she may appreciate a secure indoor/outdoor lifestyle in the right setup. If you understand that trust takes time and you’re excited to witness the transformation of a timid cat, Miriam could be the perfect companion for you. She doesn’t require perfection—just a loving heart willing to support her in her own way.
