Meet Sheldon! This handsome Standard Poodle is a bundle of joy and adventure born in January 2020. Weighing 76.8 pounds, he's up to date on all vaccinations and preventative care. Sheldon is the perfect blend of an adventure buddy and a cuddle companion. He loves to play, especially with our Frenchies and Bulldogs, but is just as happy curling up on the couch for some quality relaxation time. One important thing to note is that Sheldon is not suitable for homes with cats, as he has a strong prey drive and a history of chasing them. However, he adores people, especially kids! He has been wonderful with children of all ages, even living with a child with special needs, where he was gentle and loving. Though he had a tendency to wander off in his previous home, Sheldon has shown himself to be curious but well-behaved since arriving here. He currently enjoys outdoor time attached to a tether for potty breaks, and he loves daily walks around the neighborhood—he walks beautifully on a leash, whether with a collar or harness.
