About Ozzy
Ozzy is currently living in a foster home and is waiting patiently for his forever family. He has a gentle spirit, having spent his early years in a puppy mill, and is starting to discover the joys of home life. Things like walking on a leash and navigating doorways can be a bit daunting for him. He will thrive in a calm environment with a confident canine companion to help him along the way. At around 5 1/2 years old, Ozzy is a small, 5-pound Yorkshire Terrier with a sweet personality. He is partially housebroken and comfortable with a belly-band when necessary. While he enjoys the company of other friendly dogs, he prefers to co-exist rather than play. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle him, so he will need a home without young children, unless they are older than 10 and can meet him beforehand. In his foster home, Ozzy has learned to enjoy leisurely walks and has found comfort in routine. He is good at following his foster mom around but appreciates his own space, content just knowing she's nearby. He’s not overly demanding but is eager to offer affection when comfortable. With time, patience, and understanding, Ozzy will blossom into a loving companion. Ready to help Ozzy continue his journey? Click apply to start the adoption process.
