Meet Ellie, a delightful young dog seeking a new home. At around 2 years old and just under 50 lbs, she’s got a petite frame that makes her absolutely adorable. With one parent being a German Shepherd mix, and hints of Cattle Dog and Australian Shepherd in her background, Ellie is as smart as they come. She thrives on mental stimulation and would benefit from an active lifestyle that includes hikes and obedience training. Ellie knows a variety of commands, thanks to her AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification, and she’s already housebroken and crate trained, although she doesn’t require a crate. While she lives with two dogs now, Ellie believes she could truly blossom as the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention. While she’s lived with kids before, she does best with older ones aged 10 and up. A fenced yard would be a great bonus in her future home.
