About Tatum
Meet Tatum, or as his friends call him, Tate! Currently in a foster home, Tatum is on the lookout for his forever family. At first, life at the shelter was overwhelming for him, but thanks to his foster family, he's learning that new experiences and people can be quite nice. Tatum is the perfect work companion—he loves to relax in his bed or snuggle under your desk while you focus on your tasks. He enjoys car rides, especially on highways, though he prefers not to be left alone in the vehicle. Crate training is a breeze for him; he settles in and sleeps through the night like a champ. Tatum has met cats and seems to get along well, and while he walks fine beside other dogs, he prefers his personal space. He’s a gentle walker on a leash and enjoys treats, especially Puperoni and hot dogs. He’s learning basic commands like "sit" and "down" but still needs a bit of practice. Tatum is affectionate and loves cuddles and belly rubs—but it takes time for him to trust new people. He does experience what some call "Stranger Danger." During walks, he can pass by strangers without a fuss, but he likes to control how and when he interacts with people. His foster mom is ready to guide you in helping him adjust to new faces. Tatum would thrive in a calm household where he can be the center of attention and continue to blossom. If you're interested in meeting this sweet guy, please reach out to the shelter, and they’ll coordinate a visit that works for you. With a little patience, he’ll show just how loving he can be.
