Meet Peanut, a lively 2-month-old male Domestic Shorthair currently looking for his forever home in Santa Barbara, CA. Peanut is all about fun—whether he's darting around the house in pursuit of toys, happily helping you with your daily tasks, or curling up for some snuggle time. As a playful kitten, he thrives on enriching activities and companionship, making sure every day is filled with joy. Since he’s still learning about the world, he’ll need a family that offers patience, guidance, and lots of love as he grows. Peanut is seeking an indoor-only environment so he can enjoy the comforts of home without facing outdoor dangers. He dreams of cozy spots to nap, nutritious meals, scratching posts, plenty of toys, and all the affection a young cat deserves. If you think you could be the right match for this sweet and playful kitten, Peanut can’t wait to meet you! Adoptions take place daily from 12pm to 4:30pm, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is necessary. When adopted, Peanut will be already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. He will also come with a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam certificate and a supply of food for his first few days.
