About River
River is a young Great Pyrenees, who came into our care timid and scared, but has since started to blossom in a loving environment. It’s been heartwarming to witness her transformation as she learns what it means to be safe and cherished. With each passing day, her sweet and silly personality shines brighter, filling her surroundings with joy. She adores cuddles, kisses, and playing with her toys. River formed an instant bond with our 50-pound dog, so she would thrive in a home with another friendly canine companion to help boost her confidence and provide a playmate. She’s already showing progress by consistently using pee pads and responding to basic commands like sit. While she’s still getting used to going for walks and navigating stairs, she’s making steady strides toward being more comfortable outdoors. This gentle soul is looking for a patient and loving family willing to help her continue this journey of growth. Although it took her time to trust us enough for pets, her affectionate side emerged, revealing her true nature as a cuddly companion. River is ready to bring warmth and love to the right home.
