Meet Hattie! Some cats are princesses. Hattie is a survivor. At around 8 years old, she's spent a lot of time fending for herself outdoors, earning every gray whisker and scar along the way. Hattie lives life on her own terms and expects you to respect that. This spirited lady loves affection, but only when she decides it’s time. With a big personality and a healthy dose of sass, Hattie has the confidence of ten cats and doesn't take nonsense from anyone. She's quite adept at setting boundaries. Life outside wasn't kind to her. Frostbite claimed most of her ears, and years of untreated dental disease left her toothless. Although she may not win any beauty contests, those unique features only make her more special. Each quirk tells the story of a cat who refused to give up. Now, Hattie deserves what she’s likely never had: a warm bed, a full belly, gentle hands, and someone who loves her just as she is. She doesn't need pity; she needs someone who sees past her rough edges to the incredible cat underneath. If you believe that the best companions often have a little history and a lot of heart, Hattie is eager to meet you. She’s survived; now it’s her turn to simply live and be loved. Adoption fee is $150.
