Meet Cara. She's had a rough start, but we believe it's time for her to find a loving forever home. Cara was rescued from a sidewalk in Brooklyn, abandoned and frightened. Clearly, she was once a cherished indoor cat, but now she’s trying to navigate a world she didn’t choose. Despite her past, Cara remains sweet and affectionate, loving the company of people and craves attention. She'd flourish in a home with another friendly cat for companionship, or even better, she could be adopted with one of her brothers, who was also rescued after their abandonment. Cara is ready to leave behind her fears and embrace a future filled with love and stability. She is currently up-to-date on vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed. If adopted before her appointment, Ready for Rescue will ensure that her spay procedure is completed. After everything she's been through, Cara deserves to know she’s truly wanted.
