Meet Joe Faith! This charming fellow came to us after we responded to a call about dogs left outdoors during severe storms. Now safe and loved, he’s ready to find his forever home. Joe is an incredibly sweet and easygoing dog who thrives on companionship. He enjoys being close to his humans, gets along well with other dogs, and loves car rides. His calm and affectionate nature is endearing, making him a joy to be around. Whether he’s curled up on a dog bed or exploring the backyard, Joe is happiest when he's near his family. As a well-mannered house guest, Joe is crate trained and appears to be house trained too. He shows no destructive behavior and enjoys running around, playing fetch, and enjoying squeaky toys. After some playtime, he settles down nicely indoors. Joe has mastered “sit” and is working on “wait,” showing a keen ability to learn with positive guidance. Though he has observed cats through a baby gate and seems like he could coexist peacefully with one given the right introduction, he does have some resource guarding tendencies indoors. Therefore, he would benefit from an adopter who understands this behavior or is committed to ongoing training. Joe is making excellent progress and redirects well. With a little patience and commitment, Joe Faith will offer endless loyalty and love. He’s ready to embark on the next chapter of his life, so why not give him the chance he deserves?
