About Lua
Lua is a true gentle giant looking for a family to shower with love. At around 70 pounds, her impressive size may surprise you, especially since she’s been described as "medium" by the shelter. This three-year-old Anatolian Shepherd has settled wonderfully into her foster home, demonstrating sweet manners and a calm demeanor. In her quiet time, Lua enjoys long naps on her cozy bed. She's already house-trained, and she lets her foster family know when it's time for a bathroom break by gently tapping the door with her paws. Though she's eager to meet new friends, Lua needs slow introductions, especially with other dogs. While she’s shown excitement to play, her size and enthusiasm mean it’s important to take things slowly for everyone’s safety. Caution is also necessary around cats and smaller children. Lua hasn’t had the chance to interact with them yet, but it’s best to give her time. This affectionate girl will soon be spayed, fully vetted, and ready for a fresh start with her forever family. Lua truly deserves a loving home where she can be her wonderful, cuddly self. Start your journey together! Apply now.
