She is still learning that the world can be a safe place, so she might feel a bit nervous in new situations. Having a confident dog around helps her flourish—she enjoys observing, learning, and following their lead. Once you earn her trust, she becomes a loyal companion, shadowing you closely and gaining confidence with each step. Her journey has not been easy. Lil MamaNY was one of several dogs left behind after a house fire and survived for nearly two years thanks to the kindness of neighbors. After being rescued, she faced more hardship through a cruelty case. Now, she is ready to embrace the love of a forever home. Lil MamaNY is kennel trained and keeps her space clean. She adores cozy blankets and loves to nest. With gentle guidance, she walks well on a leash and shows great friendliness toward dogs of all sizes, especially smaller females. Not to mention, she’s cat-friendly too! She would thrive in a household with older children (8+) or adults who can help her refine her manners, as she can get a little excited and jump up to show affection.
