About Briar
Meet Briar! Life is a race, and Briar is determined to win it. Whether she's sprinting across the yard, diving into a game of tug, or showcasing her championship-caliber zoomies, she lives every day with one speed: full throttle. As one of Daisy's ten puppies, Briar has been nurtured in a loving foster home since her birth. This spirited girl is developing into a confident and affectionate companion who embraces life wholeheartedly. She's already crate trained and recognizes โcrateโ because snacks make everything better. While she's working on โsit,โ slowing down isn't yet on her agenda. Potty training is also going well; she often goes outside when asked. Briar adores playing with other dogs, spending her time wrestling with her brother or enticing her foster family's dog into fun. Since she still needs to learn proper doggy manners, a playful and confident canine buddy is essential to help guide her when playtime gets a bit too energetic. When it comes to kids, Briar is all in. If an eight-year-old is around, you can bet Briar has made them her best friend. Although she's bold at home, new environments and unfamiliar faces might make her pause for just a moment. With a bit of reassurance, her confidence re-emerges, and she quickly returns to her bubbly self. Briar's ideal forever home is one filled with energy, laughter, a playful dog companion, and people ready to embrace the delightful chaos of raising a puppy. She will need ongoing training, patience, and consistency, but she'll reward you every day with laughter, love, and enough zoomies to keep everyone on their toes. If you're looking for a puppy who will make you smile and then snuggle up as close as possible when she's worn out, Briar is ready to race into your heart. **All puppies are required to be adopted to a home with an adult dog.** Apply at rescueapittie.org.
