About Scout
Scout is a friendly 1-year-old hound mix who was rescued as a stray from the streets of Memphis. He quickly wins the hearts of everyone he meets, making friends wherever he goes. Scout is good with other dogs and has not been tested with cats. He thrives on activity and is best suited for families with children aged 6 and older due to his strong and energetic nature. Though Scout loves to play and be active outside, he settles down nicely indoors. He's crate trained, housebroken, and rides well in the car. He’s currently working on his leash skills but is eager to learn. Scout is neutered, healthy, and current on vaccinations. His ideal adopter should have plenty of time to dedicate to him, ideally taking him to obedience classes to help him become the best companion he can be. This active young pup is ready to join an energetic family and could be your perfect jogging partner. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
